The talented British sisters taking the music world by storm. All three are headed for Raye’s This Tour May Contain New Music tour.
Who are they? What makes them different from one another? What are the vibes? This will give you a basic rundown of who these artists are and why I love them.
We’ll discuss the sisters from oldest to youngest, starting with Raye.
Raye💄⭐👠🎙️🍷

- Classic
- Operatic
- “Old school glamour“
Raye is the oldest sister of the bunch and has the most extensive resume as singer, songwriter, and producer. Her journey began a little over 10 years ago when she signed to Polydor Records at the age of 17. Along with making her own songs, Raye saw success as a songwriter. She helped create massive hits for popular artists like Charli XCX, John Legend, Little Mix, and Beyoncé. Despite this success, a much darker tune played behind the scenes.
Raye was creating music for her debut, but Polydor refused to release it, encouraging a more mainstream sound instead. She discussed her challenges with the label and the substance abuse that followed in an interview with BBC in 2024.
“I was just at a point where I had nothing left to lose,” Raye said. “So I was just like, f*ck it.”
Raye felt the label was trying to make her into “somebody they wanted [her] to be”, rather than be the artist she truly was. The lack of creative freedom and control Raye had took devastating toll on her health. After voicing her frustrations on social media and discussing with Polydor, Raye was let go from the label.
And thank God for that.
Raye began releasing her music independently a year later, dropped the My 21st Century Blues album, and the rest was history. The album expressed the heavy weight of insecurities, trauma, addiction, and so much more.
I have plenty of favorites, but Flip a Switch is always my top favorite. It’s a song about creating empowering change, ending toxic relationship cycles, and reaffirming one’s self-worth. Also, the riff in the song is absolutely (no pun intended) insane. Not only that, but with catchy hits like Escapism and Worth It on the album, it was only a matter of time before the world took notice.
What differentiates Raye’s music from her sisters is that many of her songs feel like you’re entering your villain era in the best way. Raye was navigating the music industry and beginning her healing journey at the same time. Much of her music feels like a reclamation of power and reassertion of inner hot girl strength. When you take back your power, things can only go up from there.
At the 2024 Brit Awards, Raye broke records by becoming the most nominated artist in a single year and the most awarded artist in a single ceremony (seven nominations, six awards).
“I’m here and finally, I’m in control of my career,” Raye said. “Things are so positive and I really am so grateful.”
Now that Raye’s in charge of her own destiny, she’s taking her little sisters along for the ride.
Amma🧁❤️🩹🔥📝🫀

- Middle child emotions
- Navigating pain & healing
- Exploring self-purpose
- Fresh on the scene
Amma is the newest musical sister on the scene, and with just 4 songs out, she is coming in strong.
Each song takes the listener on an exploration of disillusionment, heartache, clarity, and vulnerability. Every lyric played feels like soothing intense wounds of the past with a present, reflective mind. Amma’s music reminds you that healing is a work in progress, not the ultimate destination. We could all use artists who reinforce that profound reality.
My personal song recommendation is from her “Middle Child” EP called Kill Cupid. The song charges through a cathartic release of anger & expectations in romantic pursuits. It’s a tune great for the current and former hopeless romantics finding themselves rejecting overidealized depictions of love. Am I in this boat? No. Am I obsessed with the riffs and runs, though? YES.
Her latest EP titled Blame Game is out, and I highly suggest streaming ahead of tour. From my first few hundred listens, the song appears to be about blaming the self to regain a sense of control after trauma. Give the song a listen and tell me what you think in the comments of this post! :3
Absolutely🌙🪻🌧️🔮🍭

- Whimsical
- Dark pop
- Tim Burton Odyssey
- Otherwordly
Absolutely is absolutely (pun intended this time) talented.
My favorite song is currently unreleased (as of January 11, 2026) and I’ve been surviving off of live performance videos made including the song. It’s called Painting by Numbers, a track that sings appreciation of detail and the small wins in life. A love that is so lucky she refers to it as “a four-leaf clover”. As I impatiently await that song and, by default, my next personality, my recommendation is her latest release called No Audience. It describes what it would feel like to be yourself freely without being perceived by or mentally envisioning an audience before you.
A lot of Absolutely’s songs sound like “flow state” turned into music, entrancing you with devotions of love and freedom. While Raye and Amma’s music is generally upbeat or fast paced, Absolutely’s takes time immersing you into her world of dark pop and Alice-in-Wonderland-esque aesthetics. The lyrics are passionate, yearnful, otherworldly, and appreciative of the world around you. She’s also the reason I got more into all three sisters, as her music fits my “vibe” the most.

All of these artists have their similarities. Outside of genetics, they have different aesthetics and creativity in their music.
Each sister manages to give you equally reflective tunes while also having their sonic differences. Try to see which artist(s) fit you best for good vibes and melodies you won’t forget.
I can’t guarantee that you’ll love every single song, but I can say with confidence that Raye, Amma, and Absolutely are here to stay.
